What can I expect to be doing on the job when I graduate?
This career offers a great variety of work possibilities and multiple career paths. It is not like programming where you are usually desk-bound and not like working in a factory where you’re on your feet all day long. It is typically a great balance between remote support from a desk, hands-on system deployment/maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting/interacting with end users. The really great thing about a career in this field is that you have lots of options and tremendous potential for growth and advancement.
What does Indian Hills Community College have to offer outside of class?
Indian Hills has a wide array of activities including competitive sports such as soccer, golf, basketball, baseball, softball, competitive cheer, track, cross country, sports shooting, and volleyball. If you’re not into sports, there are a lot of student clubs who get together for activities and community projects. There is an on-campus disc golf course, autocross club, computer clubs, fine dining opportunities and great exercise facilities, all in a welcoming community to explore.
