Indian Hills has articulation agreements and transfer plans with many four-year colleges and universities. The program has determined that its curriculum meets the state educational requirements for licensure or certification in all states, the District of Colombia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands secondary to its accreditation by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences, based on the following:
NAACLS accreditation of a medical lab technician or clinical lab assistant program satisfies state educational requirements in all states except New York and California, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Thus, students graduating from NAACLS-accredited medical lab technician and clinical lab assistant education programs are eligible to take the National Board of Certification and apply for licensure in all states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
