The Regional Entrepreneurship Center is dedicated to promoting a more prosperous, dynamic, and sustainable economy by stimulating and supporting private and public entrepreneurship and leadership development.
The Regional Entrepreneurship Center provides numerous opportunities for individuals from many walks of life to develop entrepreneurship and leadership skills. Indian Hills Community College offers the following entrepreneurship and leadership development opportunities.
Entrepreneurship
Indian Hills offers college credit courses, customized learning classes, camps, and specialized servicesthat are beneficial to those interested in entrepreneurship and leadership development. Among the credit courses taught at IHCC are: Introduction to Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurial Studies, Managing the Entrepreneurial Venture and Leadership Development. Additional courses are also offered that would be beneficial to entrepreneurship endeavors.
The college provides customized learning courses and workshops throughout the year that are geared to entrepreneurship. They include: Foundation in Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurial Financial Management, Legal Environment of Business, Digital Publication Design, Risk Management, Managing a Growing Business, E-Commerce, Human Resource Management, Negotiating, Presenting Your Idea, and Cash Flow Management.
The Small Business Development Center provides assistance to existing business owners, as well as those looking to start a business.
Youth Entrepreneur Camps are beneficial in developing the business and community leaders of tomorrow.

The Regional Entrepreneurship Center (REC) is a full service entrepreneurial training center and business incubator.

Integrated Incubation
The Advanced Technology Center has a wide variety of specialized equipment that may be utilized by citizens who are starting a new business. Interested citizens may apply to use IHCC equipment for personal use for up to one year. (An equipment usage fee will apply.) Due to space restrictions and student need, only equipment in certain program areas is available for use by the public. In order to join the integrated incubation program, a person must have a solid business idea, knowledge of the proper use of the equipment they wish to utilize, and a willingness to meet monthly with the Business Incubation Coordinator.
