The object of Student Senate is to represent study body ideas and concerns through active leadership. Membership is open to all Indian Hills students and those students taking classes through a cooperative program. The Student Senate is charged with planning activities and programs to meet the diverse needs of the student population. As well, the Student Senate oversees the activities of all clubs recognized as active on the Indian Hills campus.

The objective of the International Organization is to promote cultural, spiritual, social and educational growth through diversity activities and volunteerism. The club’s mission is to provide opportunities to develop organizational and leadership skills, to coordinate campus wide events and activities that will add cultural appreciation to the Indian Hills experience, and to create associations with other students regardless of their background. Phi Theta Kappa is a nationally recognized honor society. Students are eligible for membership if they have completed 12 hours of course work leading to an associate degree program and have a GPA of 3.5 and above. A membership fee is required.

The purpose of the Science Club is to provide opportunities for students to experience various scientific fields including (but not limited to) astronomy, biology, chemistry, geology, physics, and medicine in both academic and industrial environments. Specific goals are to create more interest in and understanding of science, assist students in the establishment of occupational goals, strengthen the confidence of students in themselves and their work, and encourage scholarship. Activities include field trips, speakers, discussions of recent scientific papers, and ongoing research projects established by members of the Science Club. Scholarship funds are available.

The objective of the Scrub Club is to advocate the profession of nursing, as well as the IHCC Nursing Program, and the college as a whole. They promote professionalism, provide scholarship, and are involved in community service. The Scrub Club promotes personal development, as well as encourages the academic success of peers. Members of the Scrub Club must be enrolled in the Nursing program. Scholarship funds are available.
