In continuing to build opportunities for students to achieve affordable pathways to a baccalaureate degree and beyond, Flagler College and Indian Hills Community College (IHCC) have created a transfer pathway to provide a guaranteed admission track if the admissions requirements are met for international students who graduate from Indian Hills with an Associate of Arts (AA) or an Associate of Science (AS) degree.
Participants Benefit in the following ways:
- Students having fully graduated from IHCC with an Associate of Arts degree (minimum 2.00 GPA) and have received a "C" or better in designated English class will be considered sufficiently proficient in English, meeting Flagler's minimum TOEFL/IELTS/PTE requirements.
- International students transferring from IHCC to Flagler College will otherwise be subject to the terms and guidelines for admission of each institution and be given no additional preferential treatment with respect to the admissions process or scholarships
- Flagler College representatives will be available to assist international IHCC students
with appropriate academic advising so as to maximize the student's time and credits
at IHCC as it relates to the student's intended major.
- Students who transfer with a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA in all college-level
coursework and a minimum of 24 transferable credits will receive a Presidential Scholarship
of $2,000 or higher per year for their remaining semesters at Flagler College.
- Application deadline for scholarships is the same as the application deadline for transfer students from a US institution, are non-competitive, open to all eligible students, and awarded based on received application materials.
