In continuing to build opportunities for students to achieve affordable pathways to
a baccalaureate degree and beyond, William Penn University (WPU) and Indian Hills
Community College (IHCC) have created a transfer pathway to provide a guaranteed admission
track if the admissions requirements are met for international students who graduate
from Indian Hills with an Associate of Arts (AA) or an Associate of Science (AS) degree.
Participants Benefit in the following ways:
- International students who have graduated from IHCC with an Associate of Arts degree
(minimum 2.00 GPA) will be considered sufficiently proficient in English, meeting
William Penn University's minimum TOEFL/IELTS/PTE requirements.
- International students transferring from It-ICC to WPU, will otherwise be subject
to the terms and guidelines for admission to each institution and be given no additional
preferential treatment with respect to the admissions process or scholarships.
- The WPU Registrar's Office will be available to assist international students at IHCC
with appropriate academic advising related to the student's intended plan of study
while at IHCC.
- International students will qualify to receive the following scholarships from WPU per academic year depending on GPA level upon transfer from IHCC to WPU. This scholarship is only applicable for fulltime enrollment and cannot be stacked with other institutional scholarships. At least 24 transferrable credits must be approved by WPU before this scholarship can be awarded. These scholarships are subject to annual renewal criteria.

- Application deadline for scholarships is the same as the application deadline for transfer students from another US institution, are non-competitive, open to all eligible students, and awarded based on received application materials.
