What is Pixel Perfect?
The Pixel Perfect Marketing Competition is a team-based competition with participants designing a promotional piece and utilizing marketing strategies to see which team can drive the most excitement to their campaign.
This competition will help to introduce students to the design of a campaign and marketing tools professionals use to promote their goods and services.
Pixel Perfect's 2020 Theme: "Patriotic"
This year, our theme for high school and college students is: Patriotic!!!
Student Teams
Teams typically consist of 3-5 students, but may have more or less if needed. Each team must come up with a team name.
Students participating in the Pixel Perfect competition will be designing a campaign around getting individuals to vote/register to vote.

Team Registration
Thank you for your interest in the Indian Hills Community College 1st Pixel Perfect Marketing Competition. Registration for the 2020 Pixel Perfect Marketing Competition is now open! Please make sure to read the (**Instructions) section at the bottom of the form description before clicking Add to Cart, to ensure your registration is filled out properly.
All team registrations must be completed by Friday, October 16, 2020.
Judging
Overall: Teams will be judged on the following criteria:
- Overall aesthetic design of their campaign (35%)
- Most unique ways/ideas of getting individuals registered to vote or to the polls (50%)
- Design/Marketing strategy presentation (15%)
Graphic Design
Teams will need to design a graphic for their overall campaign.
Marketing Promotion
Teams will then use (free) marketing tools to promote their designs (school social
media, personal social media, website graphics etc.). Teams may not use paid/sponsored promotions.
Marketing Presentation
Teams will come together at the end present on their designs, marketing strategy,
etc.
Prizes
First, second, and student choice winners are recognized at the event. First place
receives a traveling trophy and both teams receive individual trophies and prizes
that have been donated or purchased with money from fundraising events. Club scholarships
of $1,200 are also awarded to high school students planning to attend our program.
