If you have a disability and need special accommodations or services to help you function effectively in an academic environment, please contact Disability Services. Available services include classroom accommodations and/or adaptive or specialized equipment.
The Educational Opportunity Center — or EOC — helps lower–income, first–generation college students with financial aid and admission applications as well as academic and career advising. Almost everyone is eligible to receive EOC services.
Educational Talent Search – (or ETS) – is a program funded by the U.S. Department of Education that helps middle school and high school students gain the knowledge and skills needed to graduate from high school and enroll in college.
Recognizing that the ultimate responsibility for success lies with you, the student, Student Support Services promotes self-advocacy and leadership and provides academic, cultural, career–oriented, and social activities to help you continue your education and achieve academic success.
To assist our students in their exploration of viable transfer schools, to encourage them to begin planning, and to inspire them with the range of academic prospects available, Indian Hills hosts the Annual College Transfer Fair.
Transfer Trips are designed to allow Indian Hills students to visit four-year colleges and universities to which they may be considering transferring after graduation from IHCC.
Through our Testing Center, Indian Hills Community College offers a wide range of tests, including PSI (Postal exams, Pharmacy Tech, and Cosmetology), Pearson Vue (EMT, A+ Computer Certification), Castle (Athletic Trainer, University of Wisconsin), Comira (Culinary Arts Certification) and so much more!
The Federal TRIO Programs are educational opportunity outreach programs designed to motivate and support students from disadvantaged backgrounds. TRIO includes outreach and support programs targeted to serve and assist low-income, first-generation college students, and students with disabilities to progress through the academic pipeline from middle school to post-baccalaureate programs.
