Would you like the opportunity to see inside of the human body and provide diagnostic x-rays to help sick and injured patients?  Then the Indian Hills Radiologic Technology program is just what you need! While in the Radiologic Technology Program you will learn how to perform x-ray exams and CT scans by utilizing advanced medical imaging equipment to assist physicians in diagnosing their patients. More than half of this program will be in hospitals or clinical Radiology Departments, so you’re in for a truly hands-on experience at Indian Hills! Want to go even further? Transfer your credits to a four-year college after graduation and specialize in a specific area such as Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, CT, MRI, PET or Mammography!  

The second year of the program is offered in an online/hybrid format, allowing greater flexibility for second–year students.

  • Students will position patients for routine and emergency radiologic procedures.
  • Students will select radiographic techniques while providing radiation protection in regards to ALARA.
  • Students will manipulate radiographic equipment.
  • Students will provide quality patient care for all ages.
  • Students will evaluate radiographic images for quality positioning, centering, technique and radiation

The program has determined that its curriculum meets the state educational requirements for licensure or certification in all states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands secondary to its accreditation by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology based on the following:

 JRCERT accreditation of a radiologic technology program satisfies state educational requirements in all states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.  Therefore, students graduating from a JRCERT accredited program are able to take the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists® exam and apply for licensure in all states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.  For more information regarding state qualifications and licensure requirements, refer to the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists® at .
